- Aqueduct at Nanzenji
Before reaching Heian Jingu, I spotted the Book Off’s Kyoto Sanjo branch. It had lots of stuff from Books to CDs and trading cards too. The books and CDs were in very good condition and are going for very affordable prices. I’d recommend anyone planning on going to Japan to check out Book Off.
I didn’t enter the gardens/ticketed areas. Will do so the next time I’m in Kansai.
Looks like a weird angle.
That’s Heian Jingu. Next stop Nanzenji.
Yes, I’m going there on foot.
You can go up to the 2nd floor of this gate.
Heading up to see what is inside the aqueduct.
It says something about transporting stuff between Otsu to Kyoto and water from Lake Biwa.
Further down is Keage station (subway) where we took to Karasuma oike to switch from the Tozai line to Karasuma line back to Kyoto station.
Lots of calpis was consumed this day.
